RE: Campaign to get SBD listed on Binance

in #steemit6 years ago

Nice one but why binance...what can binance offer others sbd is already in is not offering...of course you know the fees involved in letting in binance but apart from that what is the catch for joining their exchange...apart from over 1b$+ volume daily .

Those are fantastic questions! I'm glad your are thoughtfully engaging.

We currently only have 2 major exchanges that support SBD.

  1. Bittrex (English Only)
  2. UpBit (Korean Only)

Yes we have Blocktrades, but OMG the fees! I feel in order for STEEM and the various STEEM apps to grow, they need to include all people. In order to do that, both STEEM and SBD need to be available as a currency in places that they use and in the language that they use. It is a major deciding factor for a new user that could potentially create a Steemit account.

STEEM price is tied to the number of active accounts. In order for value to increase, the number of active accounts needs to grow. In order to grow, STEEM needs to think big and include everyone.

Listing SBD on Binance will provide SBD on an exchange platform to multiple languages. It really is a one stop shop. Once that happens, users paid in SBD will have an option to take SBD earnings and exchange it for a reasonable fee with a huge range of other currencies as options. When that happens, SBD will become a multinational currency. More users of SBD would increase the revenue generated on Steemit, Busy, Dlive, Dtube, Steepshot, etc. and incentivize more people to join. Hence growth.
