I was very exited by Steemit....................... at first.
I am not sure if this holds the potential I initially saw.
I agree with your other reply regarding survival of the fittest being programmed train of thought.
The problem is that it seems so self evident when you have not been exposed to the hidden realities of this world.

I did note though that perseverance will be the key. The ONLY out.
Who and how they persevere here and what that outcome is, shall determine the life of this platform.
As it stands now, it's a chain smoker with a nasty cough. In denial of it's future. Hey it even switched to menthol (teal color - lol).
Human is still part of the Animal Kingdom, Acting on instinct driven by emotion. Some humans never even stop to wonder let alone understand it. The top though. Know it from every angle. The "Enlightened". They maintain control. The Herd mentality in human makes it possible. It is easy from their position.
It is what it is. At least you are of free and independent mind.
