Number one rule is no spamming around here. People get upset about that. No copy and pasting comments/posts over and over. Each should be unique. Not saying you did that, but just a forewarning.

Just read, comment, and vote for a while. Write a good intro post that gets people interested in you.
Don't expect to get rich, just meet people, read some good stuff, write some good stuff. You won't make much of anything if that is all you want to do. You must provide value. I came to give advice and a little something something is just a bonus. That is the idea that should be in your head about this site.
