Also, it wouldn't be long before disparities in stake would occur through buying and also people collaborating to build stake. So in some ways, what's the point? You would still end up with Whales, Dolphins and Minnows. The trouble with Steem is that the effects of the distribution, given the degree of centralisation, were so bad that the issue was highlighted. In the end steem would eventually reach a far more acceptable distribution as long as we can preserve the community for long enough.
