RE: Not an ATM, at least atm

One thing that I' ve noticed is that you indeed manage to write so much so often, and most surprisingly it is good stuff. I was and I am still amazed about that. It takes some real devotion and capacity to be able to put it all out like you do. If you say that it comes with practice, I am happy to read that hoping that it will actually work for me as well.
And now to the topic - it is clear that there are two types of steemians here on platform. Those that want to get free money and those that want to get free money to be able to root into the community. There is no person here that skips the first part of the definition. However, the former ones are those that create content and cash out, and I assume that the content they create is not with added value as its only scope is to make money. Latter ones are those that create content and don' t cash out because they want to reinvest of what they earn in spreding their branches into community - with possibility have higher upvotes for oneself and for the others, to gain influence in showing appreciatin for good stuff, and to show support for friends and those that think alike.
I think with time we will see Steemit as the hub for community building and whole different kind of understanding of what support and appreciation is. The other ones will wither away or at least diminsh in numbers.
Perosnally, I can' t wait to gain more power. And not only to have more power to vote but also to be able to invest in what I think would create better content for myself (equipment, travels, studies and so on). It is all in a distant future but as long as everything that has been attained here on Steemit goes back to Steemit, in whatever form, is a good way to go. And I will personally stick to this way of thinking. :) I love being here, and I love for the constant search of creation. :) Thank you for these reflections @tarazkp!

I have to run to IRL job. I will comment properly later. Thanks. :)

You have a pretty healthy view of things and it will be people like you who will benefit a lot in the long-run here. People spend a lot of time worrying about what the whales are doing when they should be tending their own garden and growing what will nourish them in the future. Doing this won't only feed their close circles either, it could provide seeds for many to start. Thanks for really taking the time to comment well. I might take your quote and write an article later on it and will credit you of course.

I am very glad to read that my contribution stuck with you. :) It makes me happy if I managed to inspire your for a new post, at least a little bit. I will be looking forward to it. :) Thank you.
