Yes it's for creators but it's also for people who just watch,read, hear and vote/comment. It's the most significant feature that makes the difference to other platforms, in my opinion. But with that spamming and low quality content producing (focus on posting several times daily instead of quality) it's not that easy foe minnows to gain power and have fun on the platform. There is really some solution needed. Nevertheless i truely believe in this platform's concept.

Dude, this is just the video I needed to see today. I joined last year and wasn't posting much but since the release of Dtube I've been really excited to bring value to this community with my comedy videos.
I look forward to watching this community grow more and more each day. I think it's awesome that this place is even possible.

True been using the social media **** for almost 9 years and I never received even a cent in return. All I gained are bashes and such. So steemit will be big and people I know will regret not joining the platform.

I have no friends, so it's no problem for me posting on a platform where not even my imaginary friends are^^
I enjoy reading posts and watching videos more than posting, so guess I am not that much of a creator from a posting standpoint. I would like to bring higher quality to the videos I make, but thus is life.
Even reading posts in on a much higher level here then on other social media sites.
