At least nothing substantial. I just had a look at post by The Dollar Vigilante and amazed at how is able to make thousands of dollars on here, but as you will see from his post (i will provide a link at the end - i encourage you to read it), his success both here and in life didn't come over night.
My take on those that are majorly successful on here - people making thousands of dollars - is that they either had a large following before they came on here (such as TDV) or have just put in countless hours writing blocks and participating on Steemit, possibly from the very beginning.
So my friendly advice is, don't be annoyed about the success of others, it will just bring you down and make you feel depressed. Instead look at them as a source of inspiration on how you can succeed both on Steemit and in life.

Yup, I was reading this same post earlier today! I also took a peek at the video from Free Talk Live (ftlian) where Jeff Berwick talks about Steemit. You can find this video here: https://steemit.com/steemit/@ftlian/the-great-steem-debate-berwick-vs-sovryn-steem-discussed-for-hours-on-national-radio
If you want to see results, then you'll put in the work to make them happen! =)
Absolutely on point. Many of the people who are making money currently, are people who've had established followings of people who had no practical way to show their support.
Nailed it!
If you post good content they will come. Is my motto.
