Good morning steemians, jst thought i should drop dis posts concerning the health of women in d world.
The word women connotes the female species of human, whilst health may be defined as a state of total wellbeing.
By nature of their creation, women have unique anatomical, physiological and biochemical environments whuch are quite different from their male counterparts. The reproductory system anatomy of the female is best suited gor her role in child rearing. Thus a situation arises tgat she experiences peculiar and distinct health issues different from her male counterpart.
In discussing eomens health, we will be looking at those adpect of health that are peculiar to women though not losing sight of topical issues that affect both gender. An example is hiv/aids pandemic dat is a global scourge to both sexes, young and old. We will be looking at i ssues like breast lump and cancer. The peculiarity of this is that women seek help and advice rather late. They also hold tenaciously to their breasts thereby rejecting mastectonomy. However, with d availability of reconstructive surgery and prosthesis,their fears, justified can be ameliorated....to be continued!
