These are the same reasons I joined Steemit. I never had a Facebook or any other social media accounts, so even after almost 9 months im still learning.

Good to hear from you. I've almost completely given up Facebook. I went through a period of about 4 months when I first got on that I was a media whore. But woke up. Thank goodness.
I am feeling better. But I still have about 2-3 days out of 7 that are quite challenging. Thanks for the well wishes though. Blessings.
