RE: Introducing @MinnowPowerUp. Learn how to Power Up the smart way and earn up to 30% more STEEM!

in #steemit8 years ago (edited)

Hey!
If You read "How to power up smart" paragraph, then You can see that all these calculations are made assuming You are delegating the SP to yourself and then self-voting. This way You receive the whole 100% of the upvote worth yourself. The problem is that You have to do it 10 times a day to receive the full worth of Your delegated SP. Our system is meant to overcome this ten daily post limit.

It is true that 25% of the posts whole worth is distributed between the curators (voters) after 7 days. But it is true with all the upvote bots that promise returns. All their calculations are made in total upvote's worth.

The curation rewards are not actually equal but are given out proportionally to the time an upvote was done. So by self-voting Your post right at the time of posting (which we assume You do every time), You receive the biggest cut of the curation rewards. This is why our system also makes upvotes a day after the post is posted, so that the curation rewards would be minimal as there is no way to completely bypass curations with a delegation pool.

Also, keep in mind, that all the rewards @MinnowPowerUp receives will go into the pool to make upvotes bigger. In addition, we have delegated some extra SP to the pool to counteract the curation reward distribution.
There is also another benefit with our system, any upvotes received (that are not self-votes) will make Your reputation go up and will make Your post more visible in the trending and hot pages.
