Since @grumpycat isn't a bidbot I'm not sure what abuse you're talking about.
I'm talking about nothing at stake people, such as yourself, profiting from buying upvotes on low quality content at the last few hours. Grumpycat may not be a bidbot but his self-votes are bought all the same. The content, which he upvotes very close to final payout, is a repost of previously self-voted content. It is very low quality and very low effort. To me, you all seem to be just another collusive voting ring looking to cash in before jumping off. You're almost as bad as haejin.

Nothing at stake people are those simply trying to manipulate the currency in order to ride the wave of speculation then jump off, those who produce no content on a site dedicated to such. You have no skin in the game as far as the ability of this platform to reward great content.
The ability to self vote at the amount you do has been bought. The content which you upvote consistently at very high amounts, relatively speaking, is very low quality. So low quality that your copy pasta had the same typo for weeks.
So are you saying you would support @freedom if he simply self-voted the same comment multiple times for $2000.00 a pop? To me, if I have to choose between the two evils, I would say that option is worse. At least the other way normal people will have the ability to get on the stupid trending page which would otherwise be dominated by shitty whale content. Which brings me to the point I have tried to make all along.
A change in trending algorithm is would render such an argument moot. And while I know Stinc is unlikely to make such a change, others might, if they could count on support from groups like yours. I'm am doubtful as to whether you would ever throw yourself to such long term goals aimed at benefiting the platform.
