In the previous post, I explained What are Smart Media Tokens and How It will bring Success on the Steem blockchain, but here in this post, we will learn some of use cases of SMTs which will enable existing businesses and future entrepreneurs to integrate SMT in their website to transform the internet.
These use cases are not exhaustive because you may discover other ways of Structuring and integrate SMT into your websites.
4 Important Use cases for SMTs
Here you will learn the 4 important use cases of leveraging SMTs to your sites where Content creators, curators, and the developers are able to earn some rewards by following different methods, but in the future, It might be possible to find other ways to define more use cases. So let me share some of the existing use cases. So here we go.
1 - Content Publishers - Single Token Support
If you are a blogger or have some kind of online presence and you are producing good amounts of Quality contents. You also have some engaging active users and readers on your website then you can basically leverage SMT to engage further with your audience and also give rewards by launching your own token based on the Steem blockchain like Steemit platform which gives users rewards in a form of Altcoin (Steem).
For example Medium.com can launch their own SMT token for their website by integrating Single token support, As you know that lots of good bloggers are posting quality contents on the Medium.com on a daily basis even they didn't get any reward. So basically With the help of SMTs, Medium.com can leverage Single token support and by following this way, They can also find a new way monetization for their website and their readers, This way their readers become more engaged if they earned some rewards.
2 - Forums - Multiple Token Support
The Second Use case is quite beneficial for those who have forums because they can Integrate SMTs in a form of multiple token support which means that they can easily launch their own base token for their forum (like forumToken) and their sub-communities. Each sub-community of the forum is enabled to launch their own token (for example bitcoinCrypto and Steemtalk etc).

4 - Sub-community moderators and managers
The Fourth use case is related to the Forum use case which means The moderators of each sub-community of the forums could launch their own SMT token to better serve their subscribers and contributors in the form of curation rewards and This curation rewards will help them to improve the quality of the content on the sub-communities of the forums.

How many teams are actually building with smts?
Sorry, I didn't understand, Teams in terms of what?
Who is already SMT tokens and how can we integrate this into a normal Forum like SimpleMachines or Elkarte or WPForo or any other commercial forum software ? I only know for now of ChainBB, but they only allow the forum to run on their webservers and not on my own domain...
Just one question: can we customize the name of the token into our full name (Example: Tom Cruise) ?
I am not 100% sure, but I think It might let you do whatever you want because There are already token available with the Full name (combination of two names), like Bitcoin Gold, Binance Coin and KuCoin Shares etc. These examples defined that you can do. I hope that It might help you.
