You've probably heard the saying "Patience is a virtue...
A few days ago, I memed about my frustration while I waited for my voting power to recover. As a result, there were a lot of comments on my posts that I had to wait to upvote. Now, after HF19, everyone who commented on my posts for the past week, is getting about 15x the payout for engaging with me on my blog as I smash that upvote button...and it feels grrrrrreat!
Keep on steemin', y'all!
Sweet! I think I might be in that group. :)
I've upvoted this post. Was already following you.
Yep, I'm going back and upvoting everything I missed, even if I have to take breaks to let my voting power to recover. HF19 is great for minnows!
Wow this is great. Happy Hardforking! Cheers!
Oh lovely
Thats so nice of you
Not as lovely as the people who take the time and comment on my posts! Y'all deserve the credit.
God bless you with happiness and dollarsThank you so much @mtgmisfit
What a kind thing to say to a stranger on the internet! You're exactly the type of person I get excited about following on Steemit :)
Is that so !
Thank you
Keep smiling like a cuddle bug

I finally got a meep! Thanks for making my day :)

Patience is a virtue...but forking is a money maker.
That's great! I was real excited to see that my upvotes were giving people a whole $0.02!! Haha I was like YAS! I'm doing something! Haha
I asked someone and they said it takes like 24hrs for your stuff to regenerate 20%? What do you know about this?
That sounds about right, based on my experience a few days ago...but my upvote is still worth 10 cents at 60% voting power now, so it's less of a concern than before.
Where do you see and learn of this voting power, and do you have any control over it? And what would be the benefit of such?
Sounds like this whole change is really going to rev things up. Hope so! :) Nice you remember everyone!
You are such a weirdo, my fellow Arkansas poster.
That is why I follow you :) Woo Pig Sooooooie
Steemit is the online hangout for weird Arkies. Used to we had to use IRC, back when Moses was on the internet.
IRC... with a 14.4k phone line modem... ATM0 to make it mute when it dialed up (in the terminal in windows 95) Haha! So much memories!
Kids have no idea how good they've got it these days.
I remember researching my high school debate case over dial-up. The year was 1996, and we'd just buried Moses.
Kids didn't have to learn DOS too. All they have to do is click, and voila! But I liked it this way! I've learned so much how to make a computer work! Never have to call an Indian IT to get it fixed for me. Theses were the days! But I wouldn't go back. What's done is done, next! Since I've learned some basic programming and O/S commands, I do my best to protect myself. That starts by not using Windows at all. Avoid this crap! My computer is 10 years old, and still running like a charm! ;-)
I remember learning HTML by building websites on angelfire and Geocities. And then things got fancy and I lost interest.
Isn't that a requirement to live here? :)
Ha!
How many people do you think remember Oprah Winfrey nowadays? What about in ten years?
Doesn't matter. I have now immortalized her on the block chain.
Beats plastic surgery on every level.
Yay! Happy steeming and magic playing!
and me and me xD
Tries to remember if I commented 0.0
You definitely did and I already upvoted them:)
😚
heyo
haha ohh oprah. well upvotes and steem are better than cars you have to pay taxes on!!
Nothing like poking the upvote button as a minnow and noticing a sizable difference on the writer's payout as a result. Keep up the awesome work. :)
