Many users are a bit lost when it comes to understanding (or explaining) exactly what reputation is, how it is calculated, how it evolves, what effect it has on what,. ..
I have compiled here all the information I found about reputation, and I will try to make it more understandable for everyone how it works on Steemit.
What is reputation for?
The reputation has two roles:
- It is an indicator that shows how “trusted or appreciated by the community” you are.
- It is a tool that prevent user with low reputation to harm other users.
Reputation System
When you first create your account you start at a reputation of 25 and your reputation will increase or decrease based on the upvotes or downvotes you receive. It is about 1.3 times harder to get to the next level than it was to get to the previous level. Basically it is 30% harder to get to a Reputation Score of 50 from a Reputation Score of 49 than it was from a Reputation Score of 49 from a Reputation Score of 48.
So here is some Solutions that i find to increase your ranking rapidly even your post is less visible to others :
- 1 . Steempower up:-
Add more steempower to your account and upvote yourself on your every post and comments ( not use for spamming)but for this you need a great steem power in your steemit Account so this method is quite expensive for a user.
- 2 . Get paid upvotes by upvoting Bots:-
Most of the steemit users use this way to gain a superb Reputation so that they can attract more peoples and for this method you need to do a normal amount of investment,just buy some sbd and transfer them to your steemit Account,now whenever you post a article spend these sbd to got yourself a upvote by upvoting Bots,there are mainly three upvoters bots best for helping you to regain your Reputation ranking.
3 . Learn to be more patient.
Don't get frustrated because your posts didn't get the up-votes they deserve. Users don't know who you are yet, so don't expect from them to invest their time or their Steem power on some random user. This shouldn't come as a shock to you, as I said earlier, at this stage, you shouldn't care about how much money you are making but rather focus on increasing your reputation score.4 . Write a Good content
This is the most important solution to increase your reputation level. when you write a good article will get too much Upvotes and your level will increase also you need to chose a good title for your article and aim to post your articles at the best time possible for higher visibility.

Thanks for info. It is a bit hard to start out and understand how all the layers of steemit works. This gave a good insight on the reputation system altough I do not understand the point of it when it can be easily be circumvented by the use of paid bots.
