Markdown Table Generator: why build content tables yourself?

in #steemit7 years ago

Everybody loves the organisational convenience of tables. But nobody loves the inconvenience of building them in Markdown.

Tables. The cornerstone of organising civilisations' cat pictures since 1990. They're so useful for structuring sets of information into a nice, regular format. But without the assistance of tools, creating anything other than the most basic of tables becomes a confusing and difficult task, especially after you start populating the cells with data.

Table Generator Markdown Tool

If you thought markdown tables were tricky, try HTML tables with spans and mouse-over CSS.       Nevermind that, ahem...

Table Generator not only supports Markdown, it is also capable of generating tables compatible with LaTex, HTML, and plain old text. But we steemians care about Markdown, right?

Instant Markdown tables at the click of a button, just add data.

It's so simple to use I won't bother with too many explanations or screenshots, just give it a try and... Oh, ok, here's a quick guide:

That's right, you don't have to enter all the data piece-by-piece like an ordinary meat puppet, you're a hyper evolved steemian! So get cracking with that spreadsheet application and generate/pull the data you need...

Then, either save it as a *.CSV file and import it into Table Generator, or better yet, just copy the cells you require and PASTE THEM!
import paste

"Big Whoop™. Tables are boring & useless, right?"

Good for nothing tables, as if you could make a gallery of linked media with them...
