I think that the reason people tend to focus on content related to the platform itself is because of the unique crossroads the ecosystem finds itself in; between blockchain/cryptocurrencies and social media. These are the most disruptive technologies clashing together and therefore bring very passionate communities to try to deploy the decentralized movement to the mainstream. As the ecosystem continues to maturr and some of the expected upgrades like Hivemind comes to fruition, more segmentation will come into different communities which will diversify the content seen.
