Interesting discussion that's been going on even before the fork. People are disillusioned by the fact that their quality posts are going unnoticed and that's only natural.

I think the community got too big too fast, due to some unrealistic expectations of making $100 plus per post from the start. The population needs to go down before the next explosion in population imo.

You mean a natural means of weeding out the people that should not be here?

As in some people will leave naturally when they find that Steemit wouldn't make them rich overnight. Not without some hard work at least.

Steemit needs good content curators so that good content is rewarded appropriately imo. I guess there are already some, but could always do with more :)
