Excuse me for not reading the full post @brupvoter as you may have covered this but I am short on time. Just want to let you know that steem/sbd cannot be deposited into hitbtc at this time (or the last week in fact) which is probably why the price is so out of whack.
If you have sbd in that exchange already then you're golden!!!
