We've heard that Steemit will change what we expect from a social network and everything about our online activity. It will be radical, mind-blowing and the ripples of its effect will destroy kingdoms and build empires.
Then we look at the main page and see...this.
Some people reacted along the lines of...
But are they right to have this reaction?
I think NOT.
I think it's either
a. jealousy [ hehe ]
b. a misunderstanding of what happens in the larger sense and where steemit is headed.
My opinion is that what we see now is just a stage in steemit's development. If we make a parallel with human development, steemit is an infant.
As we can see, this all sounds like steemit!
The trending page changes day by day: 2 days ago it was all about steemit and crypto, today is about content, tomorrow will be even better. It's growing and changing at lightning speed! We can't tell what's next but we know that eventually it will get there.
What steemit is now, is a child learning what he can really do, playing around and testing the limits of his power. Sometimes: amazing, sometimes: silly but always: GROWING.
I predict we'll see a different steemit and very different trending posts in time, but there will always be a place for funny and light posts. After all, even as adults, we LOVE to play. [ just look at the Pokemon craze ]
All we can do is support and guide its growth to something AWESOME, a realization of its true and full potential.
I can not wait to be part of that.

I agree. We want this thing to reflect real social media. That's the point. Whether it is a make up tutorial or an attempt to change the world, the more we can bring attention and participation to the platform, the more stable it becomes.

Social media its about popularity and the trend always change. We will see amazing thinks in future i'm sure and that way i love Steemit.
