RE: Steemit Art Supplies!

It's been, I don't know how many months, maybe since April, 3 months? She has finally figured out I am not going to eat her. I have to move her out of the dinky little cage ever other day to clean and restock her food and water. She still tries to fly and has no balance at all without both her wings. It makes me feel sad seeing her in a cage knowing how she will never fly again. It might of been kinder in the long run to have let nature take it's own way. But we can't take it back now, she is with us for as long as she lives. Thank you @generikat <3

Sometimes it's nice to intervene and save a life, but I totally understand what you are saying regarding life in a cage and nature's course. She is such a lucky girl to have someone that is so kind and willing to see to her needs, the alternative would have been a less happier ending. We have a lot of wild doves here and I enjoy listening to them coo in the evening. Hope you and yours have a marvelous day!!
