Most of you have seen the recent youtube drama and people roasting each other everyday on that platform but the trending youtuber that has been exposed many times
called Daniel Keem aka keemstar got REKT he made a video saying he left youtube but after the revenue dropped he was back some days after that posting a video why he still getting hate ?
Here is what happend with him and youtuber called bashur a year ago.
I'll try to summarize as much as I can remember about the raping a girl thing, but that's been a good 2 or 3 weeks since it happened. I'm probably going to be missing a ton of stuff, I don't follow them around nor do I really care about their videos too much.
So, Bashurverse is a YouTuber who makes videos "aimed at a young audience." When he tried to get into, I believe, SkyDoesMinecraft's group, they did a background check on him and something came up. Apparently Bashur inappropriately texted a girl some things like 10 years ago and he had charges put on him, that were dropped. Keemstar found out about this and tried to "give the truth" on his show about how a big Youtuber is some rapist/sexual predator. He makes a video saying how ridiculous that is and Bashur makes a Life Story video where he explains everything. Keemstar calls him out and says that he's a liar in the video and how he tries to play a victim. and this goes back and forth on twitter, more videos, etc. Bashur has a mental breakdown at one point and releases a video where he says that Keemstar wins and he'll quit Youtube. He doesn't, goes back to doing Let's Play videos and other people who have personally met Bashur make videos about how he's a manipulator and predator. While on a trip to LA, Bashur and his girlfriend, ClaraBabyLegs, break up citing him as a liar and has hidden a lot from her. Blah, blah, blah, they break up, she moves to another YouTube group's house momentarily while Bashur tries to recollect himself. He talks with Keemstar in a video explaining the rest and they discuss how his charges were misread or misunderstood. It started as a false rumor and blew up everywhere. Initially they thought she was 13 (?) and he 18 (?) but the age gap was more like 3 years, if I recall.
TL;DR - Bashur is Youtuber. Another Youtube (?) does background check on him before he joins their group, something comes up. Says he inappropriately texted a girl who was 13/14/15 years old. Keemstar finds out and makes a video about this. Bashur gets hated on and releases Life Story video. Keemstar calls him out. Mental breakdown from Bashur. Breaks up with girlfriend, ClaraBabyLegs, and she moves out. People claim she's a gold digger, she rebuts. Bashur and Keemstar talk in video detailing more indepth stuff. Bashur goes back to making videos.
