The last 48 hours brought rounds of rain and snow for Pakistan that was witnessing dry weather conditions for the last 4-5 days. The month of February was, in fact, satisfactory in terms of rainfall with some occasional showers along with snow in higher reaches showing up in parts of the country.
Provinces such as Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Islamabad, upper Punjab, Quetta, Zhob, Kalat divisions, and Gilgit-Baltistan received scattered rain and snowfall activities.
In the last 24 hours, Dir recorded 42 mm of rains, Balakot 37 mm, Kalam 30 mm, Cherat 26 mm, Malamjabba 24 mm, Kakul, and Saidu Sharif witnessed 20 mm each, Pattan 19 mm, Parachinar 10 mm, Rawalakot 14 mm, Murree 15 mm, Rawalpindi witnessed 3 mm of rains. Kalam witnessed 2 inches of snow.
Hence, for the coming 24 hours, mainly dry weather is expected to prevail in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm (snowfall over the hills) with gusty winds is expected at few places in Hazara division.
Advantages and disadvantages about rainy day
Weather have impluenced on human’s life. Also rainy day is one of weather kind.
I think it is sure that rainy day have many benefits. First, it is important to farming and plants so rain calling have been enacted on purpose. rain calling means the ceremony to call rain. Like this, rain is also important these days. Water of rain is free among trees, flowers in outside. Its wind also make plants stronger. Second rainy day creates special atmosphere. Rainy day is a little cool and dark. isn’t it intimate? Its gray sky is so charming and also its sound make me consentrate in my work and exciting. Its sound is rythmical and clear so it heels me.
But it still have disadvantages. it is so tiresome that having to avoid soaking and lifting umbrella and folding to enter buliding. Also it is blocking one’s sight so accident is acted contrasting sunny day. when it is over, humid weather is unpresent weather to human. So most people unlike this day than sunny day.
Rainy day has both advantages and disadvantages. but although rainy day has some disadvantages, for me, l like rainy day because it have special atmoshhere and its sound make me clear.
