The news on this post is great one and such news will help. It shows every informed investor that there is development happening in steem blockchain. I believe if all these apps and platforms are developed well, they will further project steem to the masses.
We need to look again on some tools built on steemit that is currently being abused by some few reckless individuals. One of these tools is flagging tool. I have encountered several people who complain that they were unjustly flagged. I believe there should be a team set up to monitor this just as we have steemabuse team. This team will receive such complaint and investigate. They should have some people with good SP backing them to be able to correct such unjust flagging. This is very critical because, one member unjustly treated can cost the community many more members. The after effect of such unjust treatment can better be imagined. This will go along way to reduce churning and related challenges.
New members that are joining needs to be guided here on the blockchain. I believe that platforms like discord and steemitchat are doing great but such is insufficient to cater for a scenario of massive influx of new users majority of who are not very versatile in using computer or blockchain and tech products. Getting a user to start using steemit and encouraging them to visit discord or steemitchat for more help is not the best. The odds become way too many when they have to learn too many new things to advance. This increases churning; a situation where you are bringing new members and they are leaving or getting inactive due to cognitive dissonance. We need to have an app integrated in the steemit platform where interactions like such that happen in discord can take place without having to register again on a third party platform.
