Nowadays, we have been using gadgets, such as: cellphones, telephones, computers and etc, for our daily basis, also thanks to internet we can search various of things that we do not know. Specially Facebook is one of the must used social network to communicate to other people. And now I'm here to talk about the advantages and disadvantages of social network.
Advantage and Disadvantage
"Advantages"
- Staying Connected:
This is the main purpose of social, staying connected with your friends and family. Such as sharing family photos and talk about your old memorise about your old friends. - Finding People With Common Interests:
Social networking is also a best way to meet new people. Where you can find people with the same interest and hobbies you have. For example: Online dating is one of them. - Information Spreads Incredibly Fast:
News and important information can be spread on social media sites. Such as celebrities news, missing children and so on. - Finding new Jobs:
This days, they made it easier to find a job. Just by typing it in search bar. They also made it easier for those people who doesn't have any experience to find a job.
"Disadvantages"
- Perpetuates False And Unreliable Information:
Just like as I mention at the advantage of social network. The news spread very quick. This also, unfortunately, includes things that are false or made up. This information can cause panic and severe misinformation in society. - Causing Major Relationship Problems:
Online social interactions with social networking have not only been starting new relationships, but ending many others. It is very simple to communicate and share pictures or plans with a person on social media and keep it completely under wraps. This new temptation has been driving wedges into people’s real life, offline relationships, often time ending them for good. Social networking puts trust to the limit. - Cyber Bullying Is A Growing Problem:
Online bullying is bullying carried out through the internet or mobile devices. Posting mean photos, getting block, being isolate in a group are example of online bullying. Online bullying is also sometimes called cyber bullying. - The Addiction Is Real:
One of the biggest problems with the social network, is that people are becoming more and more addicted to using it. It is the number one time killer at work, in school, and at home. It makes people not to interact in reality but virtually.
