Are you thinking of making it a service much like Steemstats.com or steemnow.com that people can use (to prevent yourself getting swamped by people asking you to provide snapshots) ?
That is the idea, but I need to get a better server to do that, atm I am running a steem node on a relatively small machine. Hopefully soon there will be a new steemit service available :)
