(okok i do it sometimes as well i will admit it - cos just starting out and still trying to suss out authoring bit). At the end of the day, this is important as ppl and bots continue to game the system, it will be reflected in the long term performance of steem price and wealth creation for all. plus there are so many steemit competitors running behind after it. Very rare you will find pioneers as market leaders nowadays. case in point, yahoo (google), palm (apple), motorola (nokia, which is dead now as well). And in cryptoland, things move multiple times as fast as normal tech world, which is also why steemit needs to change quickly and adapt fast.
