Hackers: The Internets Immune System

I Just saw this and wanted to share it with everyone. Its raises an important question on how we deal with security. Whilst hackers are feared and blamed for much in today's world, they hold the answer to fixing some of our biggest vulnerabilities. Keeping an open mind towards such attacks and being aware of the things they expose can help save the world from powerful government and financial institutions. Overall, i thought it was an inspiring talk and a view that we should atleast consider and be open minded about. Maybe hackers are the only ones who can save us from the threat of hackers. They should be encouraged and be groomed to help fight for the internet security and be on the side of good.

Steem: An Example of the Free and Open Internet

A free and open internet is the Utopian state we all want get too and in my opinion a free internet will be a good internet as good usually prevails over bad. In open systems people take responsibility to save what they represent and build. I think Steem is a good example of this, its open and moderated by the members itself,. The members of this community have formed teams to help deal with plagiarism on their own, others vote with a sense of responsibility and people post articles that help provide users with quality content that's helpful and interesting. Whilst there may be people here with bad intentions trying to scam the system overall the good people tend to always outweigh and thawt the people posing as a deterrent to the platform. Keep it up steem, become an example of success of an open decentralized network run, administered and controlled by the people.
