Timphan is one of the only culinary we meet in Aceh. This past year has been a favorite of people and even visitors to Aceh.
Today, timphan is very easy to find in traditional coffee shops, a chewy taste coupled with content in it that attracts more appetizing if you taste it.
Timphan made from flour and sugar dough, wrapped with banana leaves that have been dilayu produce a unique form that we rarely encounter in other areas of the archipelago.
This cake has the contents that are usually a srikaya or grated coconut that is sliced ​​and put into it before being wrapped in such a way. After steamed, Timphan ready to serve.
