My First Meetup Experience
Blockchain| Cryptocurrency these words often make up for my feeds and in conversation when I am in a Metro City.
But Imagine a meet up of this kind deep inside the picturesque state of Assam, #India and that too 240kms away from Guhawati is simply exhilarating.
When kids talk about the technology chatter is often subsided as some trending bubble, but when it penetrates deep enough with people having 3 generations present in front of them It certainly means something.
Well, that's what the Story of this meetup and has been Mind boggling and sheer fun
The Location and Organizers
So I traveled from Bangalore, India for 8 hours with a 3 hours flight and 5 hours road time. Just for this meet up and it was worth it.
It was @rahul.stan @maya7 @preity15 @physics-o-mania who have been the backbone of this meet-up, who realized the potential of the block-chain and took it to their place.
Despite limited infrastructural support and network availability they have created a closely knitted a community of 300+ people, which is growing fast

Well, to be honest, I had rather no clue how these people, in reality outside of @steemit would be. But guess what they are absolutely normal and amazing company. Without any frills and really humble. Took out their precious time and made us all feel welcome and took a step closer towards the @steemit community.

To conclude it all, I must say that the meet up was just not a One to N dull session. It was a great chance to meet some people with like-minded ideas, share travel stories and a way to digital to Real.

this is actually great that you organised something like this in Tezpur. I have not yet found another serious Steemian from Kolkata to do something like this
