Tip To Newbies; Don't Get Deceive By #Introduceyourself Post Cash Out

in #steemit6 years ago

Hello everyone
@samiwhyte here

It been an amazing week so far, starting from promoting steemit at Tinapa (Africa Business Resort) on sunday, down to today mentorship session of newbies with steemit witness @gmuxx. This has paved way for many newbies in #credo community who are yet to blog to make their introductory posts.

The deception of steemit most times rally around introduction post which for many, cashed out good amount of SBD and SP. This create a false expectation on the newbies that other posts will earn that much and when it doesn't, they get disappointed and some times back out.

Though in my early days on steemit, I did not get the so called big vote, but I have witness this happen to some of my newbies and this created high expectations for them on the steemit blockchain. The first on my list was @winarobert who got an upvote of $86 from @brocktrades, this was like a dream and Mr fixer like he referred to himself oin the post, could not wait but to begin his next blog. The next on the list is @keban who receive a vote worth of about $25 from @damarth in just few hours of dropping his introduction post, this prompted him to make series of posts on Forex trade signals like he promised in the blog. Another amazing steemian I will love to talk about is @dejojennifa, just like the best start you can wished for, she received a 100% upvote from @infovore and this took her earnings from $1 to $28. Some other newbies of @credo community in the past has received good upvote from @teamsteem, @lukestokes among others.

These newbies need to be oriented, less they only do introduction post and after some days, they will back out. Steemit requires hard work and dedication, the more time, resource and energy you put into it, the more result you get from it. Steemit is not a quick money scheme and therefore cannot give you the result expected in a short time. Introductory post is just a welcome post that if done properly will give you a jump. Everyone wanna support a newbie, so you can easily get that in a platter of gold on your introduction post. But the real journey begins, when you start to find your niche on the steemit blockchain and begin to build it into your dream blog.

You must interact and build relationships, you must deliberately grow your followership and you must help others who will help you in return. Steemit is not a place to drop blogs and log off. It is a place to blog, comment, upvote and make friends. This is what eventually pays off.

Don't go for short term success, build your blog and it will pay off eventually.

Thank you boss
I'm privilege to have you on my blog

I couldn't agree more. Newbies who earn 'big' on their intro post thinks its going to be a roller coaster ride all the way when its actually the beginning of the work process.
Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem did not prevent him from being crucified but the good thing is that he rose up again.
There is a lesson to learn from that.

Yeah you are right

Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem did not prevent him from being crucified but the good thing is that he rose up again.

They have to learn from it. I'm already seeing your track bro
You will do well here.

Good advice - thanks. You encourage me to do another introduction post. Mine didn't even make a dollar - poor groundwork and perhaps I should have waited longer before doing one.

Just work hard on the rest of your post.
I don't think another introductory post is necessary.

Hardwork continues after introductory post. So they need to step up their game.
Hence, they fall apart due to ignorance.

I agree Sami. Newbies often get tasty bait when they first join. Sometimes the upvoter is motivated to encourage the newbie but other times it's just to get them involved with one of their projects (which will ultimately make the project owner rich). Always best to keep a sceptical eye on the situation.

You've given some great advice there. I also would add that it's important to write good, original , quality content, focusing on what they know. We all have different life experiences. It's great to share and enrich others with this.

Thank you for your post.
Cheers

Hahahahahsh.. That's the message my brother. Unfortunately, most would rather write intro post severally in hope of getting repeated result.

This is a header!

@eurogee

Lol
I trust Nigerians
Just like in MMM where they had to do multiple accounts.
If it's Introduceyourself that is paying more, lets do it more, but this wont help their growth here.
Thanks for dropping by boss.

Yes sir I strongly agree with you, build your blog. Build your blog. Build your blog. Thank you

Thank you sir for droping by

Great work @samiwhyte. You really inspire me. Thanks for nailing those great points right there in your post. I choose to work hard here. Am following for more.
