Yea that never seems to rise much. I try to hold myself, but I just wanted to be sure. Turns out Steem potential payouts isn't tied to the current price. A couple of guys clued me in that its on a rolling scale system and averages a percentage of the combined market values of the week. So due to HF19 aftermath of everyone selling and dropping it a bit, its gonna take a few days of good prices to bring up the potential payouts system. Makes sense now

Ah! Yes that makes more sense.
Atleast I hope Poloniex get the maintenance fixed, so the low volume market does not get more flooded with steemians selling steem dollars for any kind of price.
I went to Blocktrades for selling, fair price, low fees and way more instant into my bitcoin wallet lol....don't think I will be returning to Polo anymore, a lot of people are done with it at this stage, they just don't invest in the upgrades they need so I suspect that will slowly be a doomed exchange
Yeah smart choice! Did you read the post about buying in bittrex and selling on blocktrades? I would do that, but my head is to boiled to go through with it.
actually I buy through Blocktrades. I been running around comparing fees, Blocktrades seems to be way cheaper...plus I don't have to battle the traders lol. it just gives me it at current market value and done lol. I love Bittrex but I think with Steem I am gonna stay out of the exchanges
Ok... should really get an account there aswell then. I think blocktrades prices is taken from polo, so in that way.. you get the best of both worlds... (rock out the show, then relax take it slow)
actually most the prices come from coinmarketcap.com or a few other market watchers like their site. Its an average of all the exchanges combined. I tend to use coinmarketcap because they list all the exchanges prices, always good to know from an outside look at the whole space when trading, then you can sell to the highest and buy at the lowest, trickery I know but saves you in the long run
Ok, I just assumed the article I read said so. Yeah I also use coinmarketcap. Everyday, on every coin. Have found a couple of good arbitrages that way.
