There are more than 2754 billionaires in World. All the business tycoons cannot or couldn’t not become billionaire without the help of nature. Let’s see how these billionaires have used nature to become billionaire. Some are selling petrochemical products which is made from crude oil. Crude oil comes from deep down deposits of earth surface. Some are selling Software. These software cannot run in Air. You need hardware to run Software. No Hardware means no software. These hardware components are made from silicon which is natural resource. And many other natural elements are used to make hardware which comes from nature. Some are selling Medicines. Whatever chemicals or ingredients used to make medicine cannot be made without natural resources. The chemicals do not come from another planet. Many of the Ayurveda medicines comes from forests and medicinal plants farming.
Some billionaires are selling FMCG products like cosmetics, cigarettes, shampoo, soap, packaged food. All these products cannot be made without using natural resources.
So without exploiting nature we cannot make money and we cannot have billionaires. Ever wondered how much these billionaires have done for the nature? Every business they do have huge carbon and Water Footprint. These billionaires have foundation which do social work for humans. But they make billions from nature and they do social work for humans. Billionaires have not given a fraction of their wealth to repair the ecological damage they do by their Carbon and Water footprints. They have not done enough to revive the health of nature/ mother earth. Remember one thing nature can take care of humans if humans starts reviving the lost balance of nature.
Its time for all the billionaire, millionaire and common man to come together and revive the health of Mother Nature. If all the billionaire pledge half a billion dollar from their wealth we can easily have reserve of more than 1300 Billion dollars.
Remember every dollar invested in trees can give multi fold economic and ecological benefits to humans. If billionaires keep ignoring nature then they must remember one thing, billions of dollar cannot help you escape death which is natural phenomenon. You cannot escape death by wealth.
