In the last couple of days I have hit too tiny targets on steemit. Firstly I have posted over a 100 posts and as of this morning I have 100 followers. While I relatively pleased about this I have to confess its been hard work and driven by creating original content. I have read numerous guides, started to use sites such as d.tube and much more but still I am getting very little rewards. Now just consider for one second that I have written professionally at numerous points in my life, been a film maker and artist so I know that I can provide worthwhile content. The frustration kicks in when you see a post with $800 that is just a badly written device to get more steem. So this post is a question to my fellow steemians just how can I improve my rewards just a little bit? Just the tiniest amount would make this a whole lot more fun.
Hi:
I don't know, but it seems that active curation (commenting thoughtfully and at length on other posts) is one way to grow. If you engage in that way, I'm told, you have a chance of networking meaningfully. Of course, I'm an opinionated person--my problem is keeping those opinions to myself. Curating is something I enjoy.
Also, the posts that seemed to yield the best outcomes for me have been long, involved, thoroughly researched discussions. Although, I have written some of those, particularly in the beginning, and received $0 reward. I know it seems many people receive rewards for doing very little. But that's life. It doesn't matter what they do or get. Just focus on your goal.
I wish you well. Don't give up. I won't, and I'm not even a minnow yet. Hope I don't seem presumptuous in offering this comment, but I really do want to see you do well.
Thanks for the encouragement and advice!
