I find it a little disturbing that your first tip for thriving in a new, decentralized blogging platform is to become a financial investor in said platform.

That means Steemit rewards speculation more than it rewards good content.

Sort:  

Well over time we all members came to know that for earning Rewards we needs some own power because no one Support us for forever so it's better to have our own Steempower, so we can survive even when no one here available to help us.

But the central idea behind Steemit is that any solid content creator can build an audience and flourish. Essentially, Patreon without the extra steps.

The reality is far from that though.

Yup that's true buddy and these bidbots also effects manual Curation these days.
