"Knowledge is power", as the saying goes, but without wisdom there is no use of knowledge.
Knowledge can be explain as the collection of ideas, facts, information, experience etc, which is acquired through a formal or informal education in other to get understanding of how things work.
Whiles wisdom is the act of apply a knowledge acquired through a formal or informal education to solve existing problem or wisdom can still be explain as apply a common knowledge in an uncommon area.
Every now and then we acquire knowledge from the environment so far as we live but wisdom differentiate average person and a geniuses. Through wisdom, new technologies pops up everyday.
Though Knowledge is power, but I prefer wisdom to knowledge.
So what is your preference. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Knowledge is powerful. Whether put to good or bad use. Knowledge made it possible to engineer airplanes - powerful accomplishment. The same knowledge made it possible to create atomic bombs - powerful tool too. Knowledge is powerful in the sense that, with knowledge, you can do anything.
Knowledge is never powerless.
You don't always need wisdom to put knowledge into use. Example : You can be given steps to make say a pen. That is knowledge. You just follow through the steps and you make the pen. You used knowledge to create something without necessarily applying wisdom.
Knowledge is power. Whether beneficial or not it does not make it any less powerful.

Since knowledge is nothing without wisdom and wisdom can only be obtain with the fear of God then i think there's the need for we'll to fear God not because of our expectations from him but rather he's worth it
