RE: πŸ‘ Ask not what STEEM can do for you! πŸ‘ Ask what YOU can do for STEEM!

Upvoted and resteemed!! Completely agree with this post! what are we all doing to make steemit better??? should be asked at least once each time we log on! The next step in steemit has to be getting pension funds involved with curation and supporting their investments. they cannot get yield with ZERP interest rate policies and so are taking on excessive risk in their portfolios. Steemit represents a relatively stable investment with a very strong return. If we could delegate the pension scheme's massive steem power to responsible curators, then we could make sure that the best content creators all receive the value they deserve, additionally the pension schemes will get a guaranteed 15% return per year on their steem power per year. Steemit now has many new people coming in, unfortunately this is watering down the power of each vote. equally as important as new users at the output side of steemit, steemit desperately needs large investors to come in. This will be an initiative i will take up over the coming months. I think it is incredibly important and is vastly over looked, at steemit's peril!

Yes, definitely, delegation is a very powerful tool. The delegation I've received has helped immensely to get me started on the platform. This could be the way to bridge the gap between investors and active users. Good curation takes time and that is also a valuable commodity.

It will also help discover the diamonds in the masses of posts that are added to steemit every day. One would think that the hot and trending pages would be full of interesting articles, but I often have to scroll down quite far before there's an article that I actually want to read.

Most people vote for posts with the sole purpose of making money and not with the thought of improving the quality of Steemit content. Good curators are rare and they should be identified and rewarded with delegated Steem.

Certainly true!! (sorry for low upvote on the comment I am saving steem power for my talk on Saturday).

Did you get delegated steem? how ? many people are asking about how to do this. There is maybe a blog in this for you, if you are successfully being delegated steem power and are using it to curate and make money for both your whale and yourself!! can you also address how you ensure that you dont run off with the steem power? cheers bro!
