Yes, it's really hard to understand... In German words as a developer I would call this "Altlast". Like a bug, that never got fixed, because the platform still works without fixing it. But in the reactions here to this topic I can see, that there are many people who want to have it fixed. I think that they have to hear the voices of the people and find a solution for this.
