The Active page is still there if you know where to look

@karenmckersie was missing the Active tab in Steemit. It is useful to have different views of the current posts. It's not always those making the most money that are the most interesting.

Well it is still there. I get this page when clicking on the new notifications on my phone and that still has the Active link.

Of course most people won't find this.

Another page that used to be linked from user pages was to see their feed. That gives you an idea of what others are getting from the people they follow. Here's Karen's.

As for the notifications, it's a little annoying that they build up on my phone even when I've seen them on a PC. I think it happens the other way around too. This may be a limitation of the Chrome browsers. Any ideas?

Thanks a bunch for the mentions @steevc ! I wish they would just leave 5 tabs up ! And those notifications were way too many ! I had to turn mine off ! Just too much stress to be constantly checking them on my tablet , great post my friend ! Steem on !👍😊

My notifications number has a mind of it's own I think.

I was using a browser extension before, but notifications is a useful feature. We may just need it to be more controllable as on some other sites.

I think the issue is that I use multiple devices/ browsers or maybe I follow too many people (nah!) and that's why my feed number is in triple figures some days.

I think we need more control of the feed so we can filter by groups of people and/or tags. Otherwise it's not viable to follow lots of people

I don't know why they remove links that would still work. We need more options, not less

agreed but i am too new to have the entire overview yet - what i see are tons of apps and sites here which is confusing a bit, a lot to learn and see, some i discovered is cool, some seems not to be live anymore or i do no get it :-)

Some of the external tools are not being maintained, but there's no central control of this. Those running sites like Steemtools may not have time to check them, but this is something to community could help with.
