I did not spend one cent buying STEEM. Everything I've earned as been a product of my content creation. And I posted 2 articles per day for 5 weeks solid (I lost my mind in the process, too). I managed to become the #1 top earning content creator on Steemit. (not sure if I'm still up there, as things changed after the hacking when I took a break)

Pretty sure you are still #1, I'll see if I can dig it up but there was a post that showed who the big holders were but also who had earned it through posts. You had a decent lead. And you stood out in that you weren't writing posts about Steem or cryptocurrencies.
