Have you ever wondered just how many Blogs are now being published on STEEMIT?
These numbers are about to blow your mind..!!
After picking myself up off the floor, I am excited to announce that the Number of Blogs that are now being published on STEEMIT daily has SMASHED THROUGH previous records to a STAGGERING and JAW DROPPING new high of 17,998..!!
No, your eyes are not playing tricks, this does say 17,998..!!
Let's just think about that for a moment ....... a STAGGERING 17,998..!!
So what is 17,998 Blogs per Day?
17,998 Blogs per day is equal to an average of 749.9 Blogs per hour, 12.50 Blogs per min ....or 1 Blog every 4.8 Seconds..!!
I will let that sink in while I go and make myself a nice cup of coffee.

Wow thats huge. Hope steemit has no scaling issues . Yesterday for a while steemit website was very slow. Not sure everyone experienced it or was any issue on my side

All these new records may need a redesign of the main page, no? I mean... So much new posts, and still a single long list on the main page. Difficult to find meaningul and best articles there, each time you refresh the page you skip dozens and dozens of posts and need to scroll and scroll... etc...

Do you think that a strategy to awake old accounts on Steemit would be beneficial for the platform? I'm sure that there are thousands of inactive accounts, people that let it go at one point. Maybe they would like to give it another shot, now that Steemit is getting traction.
A nice move by steemit to stirr the old accounts that were going inactive. I have see many trending blogs now.from accounts made in June 2016.
That is perfect for growth of all steemit fellows.
