I will be sending money from my mpesa wallet to a pre-paid visa card. The process takes less than a minute and the money is instantly credited to the card and can be spent immediately.
Step 1,
Click the sim toolkit icon and select the m-pesa option.
Many options will appear but what we are interested in right now is 'Lipa na Mpesa' (pay with mpesa). Select 'pay bill' on the next window.
Input the business number, this is the merchant number of the pre-paid visa card.
Enter your account number, the amount to be deposited to the card and then input the correct 4 digit pin.
You will receive 2 text messages, one from m-pesa and the other from the prepaid card company confirming receipt of funds. The cash deposited in the card will be available immediately.
