So glad to hear you underpin the arguments I just put forward in my Swim with it post. Forget the numbers (of followers): it's ego. Forget visibility as a trigger word. More ego. Steemit is all about shaking off ego and striving for a more Utopic world of selfless awareness.
A joy to read. I hope we can also reach especially the English-speaking community. The German side seems, overall, to be more on the ball regards the community spirit of one for all and all for one.
