Not That Long Ago: Backpage.com Sting!

in #steemit6 years ago

Not that long ago, Newsweek posted an article stating that Backpage.com was part of a MAJOR prostitution sting all along the west coast.

I have firsthand information that this site was used extensively for human trafficking and the prostitution of a 14YO girl from Colorado as well. (The girl is now a woman over the age of 21 and is known to me personally.)

Does it make more sense? Recently Donald Trump signed the FOSTA bill, which, according to the Washington Post mainstream news site:

"Trump signs ‘FOSTA’ bill targeting online sex trafficking, enables states and victims to pursue websites"

Can you see the puzzle coming together? Or is it just more false hope?

Check out Sunny Rosario's popular video from December 2017 which discusses Backpage.com and it's notoriety as a cesspool for the blatant advertisement of human trafficking and prostitution crimes. Also included here is the link to the Washington Post article from earlier this week
