MinnowBooster - a growth bot

The Steemit community refers to new users as minnows. Accounts that make only a slight ripple in the direction of a post. MinnowBooster is exactly what it sounds like. It's a growth bot that does a multitude of different things, even when you're asleep, for minnows and whales.

Upvote Bot

For one thing - it is a vote bot that gives you a predictable upvote return depending on your proportion of the investment. In layman's terms - if you send SBD to @minnowbooster you can receive an upvote worth up to 5 times what you paid for. You have to send at least .1 SBD. Of course, the received value on the upvote decreases proportionately as the voting power decreases.

Ok - give me the step by step

All this takes place on https://steemit.com/welcome. Navigate to your wallet, inside Steemit, and click on the SteemDollar amount drop-down arrow. You can then transfer some SteemDollars to @minnowbooster. Make sure it's spelled right!

In the memo field just paste the URL of the post you want minnowbooster to upvote. The bot does its best to detect invalid URLs and send the funds back - but this isn't always the case.

Steem Power Leasing

MinnowBooster also acts as a Steem Power leasing platform. Once you have Steem you can power that up to Steem Power to increase the value of your vote. Keep in mind, converting Steem Power back to Steem takes 13 weeks. Since minnows don't have much Steem Power they can safely lease it from MinnowBooster - which will make their vote more valuable to accelerate reputation and esteem in the community. Currently, it takes about 7 days to undelegate the Steem Power. For investors delegating Steem Power to minnowbooster the returns are around 20% per year. These returns are variable and can fluctuate depending on the daily revenue. As per minnowbooster.net.

Walk me through it...

One way is to visit minnowbooster.net and navigate to 'Lease Steem Power' on the left side.

Enter the amount of Steem Power you want, how many weeks you'd like to lease for, and how many Steem you're willing to pay per week. Notice - this form is a calculator that will spit out the total amount of Steem Power required to receive the lease. You'll get a confirmation in your wallet soon after!

You can also do it directly on Steemit. Navigate to your wallet and send the amount to @minnowbooster. Note, the memo must be in a specific format. ~how many weeks~ ~username~~amount of Steem Power you're willing to pay per week~ i.e. 1 techchat 100

Good things to know:

  • MinnowBooster will not vote posts older than five days in order to prevent abuse.
  • Think of MinnowBooster as a very dominant account with the ability to accept payments in order to upvote other accounts. It's nothing too fancy but can help your account a ton! Mainly because it works while you sleep!
  • Visit MinnowBooster and see how much voting power MinnowBooster currently has. This is important in seeing what your returns will be if MinnowBooster upvotes your post.

So much for helping us to grow lol

Thank you for the heads up! We haven't run into a problem like this, but it is definitely important to keep in mind that MinnowBooster is very new. Many of their videos on YouTube have no more than 400 views. They are still constantly working on the tech to make it better, so it makes sense that the tech isn't very reliable right now!

Yeah it could just be a glitch with it being new, well worth keeping your eyes on it just in case.

Perfect post
