Good day, fellow steemians!
I recently engaged intro Steemit because of the idea and the potential it has regarding promotion of content. The part where you are actually rewarded for your articles does the job and motivates one enough to at least consider not spamming crap all over the platform, this is like the first filter ever applied on Steemit.
As a newbie, my first action was to start browsing the tag list, see what fits my personal interests and beliefs. There is indeed a satisfying number of tags that fit the general public's need, and as this is still in beta, this article is not meant to take on the absence of some tags, but more of a question regarding this topic.
As I understood, the 1st tag you type will represent the main category (or tag) under which the post will appear.
My question is: What happens with a post if a tag like conspiracy gets attached to it? The tag is not listed, is it going to be automatically implemented if it gets popular enough? And I believe it applies to a lot of other tags as I see it quite hard to adding them 'all'.
