RE: Why I (Almost Always) Upvote Comments Of My Posts

in #steemit8 years ago

I've noticed as I look through the comments on your page that you do tend to upvote often. I was wondering why you voted so much, but after reading your post I can see that you have a long-term view of Steem. The fact that you consciously and consistently upvote other people for engaging shows that you care about the platform. There are too many people who are self-voting and doing posts so they can cash in on the rewards from the system without stopping to think that if they already have so much SP, they can greatly increase the value by spreading their votes to others. By having people who are encouraged to engage, and who produce good content, the value of the platform and of the underlying crypto currency will increase. The stake they hold will likewise increase in value. Most don't see it that way and are just draining life out of Steem while they can.

Thanks for being an example and helping to make Steem (and Steemit) strong!

You said it better than me :)
