RE: Living off Steem: Are you well enough endowed?

I hope the treatment goes well and that you recover quickly. It's hard enough to have procedures without having work to do while you're there.

Why would I invest what I have struggled hard to build into someone with a proven track record of using it only on themselves?

I had a discussion with a guy about this recently. I commented on his blog a lot and noticed that he didn't upvote anyone's comments that I saw. I looked up his account and he was self-voting at 98.5%. I asked him about it and he said that he only voted on quality posts and he didn't feel like many other posts/comments were worth voting for.

He's right that they're his votes, but I didn't feel like he was interested in building community. He was just taking. A few days later, he posted an article talking about how he's a professional and writes amazing articles, but why doesn't the community "show him some love" or something to that effect. I held my tongue (keyboard), but I really wanted to say it's because you generally get what you give. "You reap what you sow" so to speak.
