Help with Cover Image Upload, Please

Hi Guys,

V3Steemit - Precise SPEC 2048 X512.png

I have attempted to upload a cover image (see image above) several times but it doesn't seem to have worked.

  1. First I created a file on canva.com using the dimensions given in Steemit's FAQ. (2048 x 512)

  2. Next I uploaded the image onto postimg.org

  3. Finally I copied the URL from postimg.org for my selected cover image and pasted it via Settings on Steemit and saved.

Unfortunately I cannot see my cover image in position on my profile.

I would really appreciate it if someone could let me know where I am going wrong.

    After lots of trial and error I noticed that the dimesions vary depending on the size of your monitor. Mine still isn’t perfect but I learned that an 11:1 ratio was the closest to my desired fit.

    Also, one option to upload could be to create a post, upload the photo via steemit, then copying and pasting the URL in settings. That somewhat worked for me, but let me know if it works!

    While you were typing I gave it one more try and it has worked. Instead of using the link from the post image page I copied the 'direct link' and that has worked.
