Drink Steam week has arrived! I am not affiliated with Anchor Brewing or Anchor Steam beer. I'm just a fan of their beers! I live in San Francisco where Anchor Steam beer is made, so it is well known out here. I was surprised to find no one has posted anything about Anchor Steam beer on Steemit yet. So here is the first post on Steemit about Anchor Steam beer, I think?
Anchor Steam beer gets its distinctive flavor and creamy head from a historic brewing process dating back to the 19th century. “Steam” was a nickname for beer brewed on the West Coast of America under primitive conditions and without ice. In 2015, the mayor of San Francisco proclaimed the third week of August to be "Drink Steam Week", celebrating Anchor’s contribution to craft beer in America.
This beer was originally brewed for the eager gold "miners" during the San Francisco gold rush. The future is here and the beer for the hard working Steem "miners" of today is obvious! This is also the perfect beer for those thirsty whales out there who have had a long day on Steemit upvoting content. Cheers to more content about craft beer on Steemit!
