RE: OMG ETH and XRP have to leave the Steemit Homepage! There is something wrong with the picture steemit is pushing, Alt Agendas don't belong on the Homepage!
Does not seem. I was told I just needed to use the hashtag, then I could claim my WeedCouns later if I used my private key! Not sure, just going by what I read in comments. I set up a fresh account, still waiting for the email so I can sign in with another account and do some more testing.
